Transmasc Seattle U District Art Walk

  • Cafe on the Ave 4201 University Way Northeast Seattle, WA, 98105 United States (map)

Join us for the U District Art Walk on Friday, Sept. 19! 🎨

We’ll meet up at Cafe on the Ave (located at 4201 University Way NE) starting at 4:30 p.m. This will be a good time to grab a snack or drink before we take off around 5:15 p.m. We’ll head to the next block over for the Henry Art Gallery, then The Burke Museum of Natural History & Culture, and will round out the evening browsing Gargoyles Statuary and Innervisions. Entry to all galleries and museums is free during Art Walk night, but you’ll want to bring some money for food, drinks, or a cool find at a stop along our route.

The total route is approximately 0.8 miles long on paved, mostly flat ground.

This is a GREEN 🍀🐸🥑 event - intended for transmasculine people and their loved ones of all genders, including cis allies. Check out our Stoplight Policy for more details.

We will distribute masks while gathering at College Inn Pub and ask that all participants mask indoors in gallery spaces, especially considering the late summer COVID and respiratory illnesses surge. For more information, check out our FAQs.

Cafe on the Ave is accessible by Metro Route 49, which runs from the International Distict, through Capitol Hill, and up to the U District. Commuters can also take the Link Light Rail to the U District Station and make the short walk south to the cafe. Metered street parking is also available.
